Eye for Creation Summer Art Camps offer a fun, creative, and engaging experience for young artists in the Wyandotte community. In partnership with the Wyandotte Recreation Department, these camps are designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and encourage artistic exploration in a supportive environment.

Each camp is a 4-day session (Monday–Thursday) and features hands-on art projects using a variety of materials and techniques. Students will create multiple take-home artworks while developing skills and expressing their unique ideas.

Camps are available for students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade, with separate sessions for K–3 and Grades 4–8 to ensure age-appropriate instruction and experience.

Led by a certified art educator with over 17 years of experience, Eye for Creation camps focus on small group sizes, personalized guidance, and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where every child is encouraged to grow as an artist.

Eye for Creation is a mobile, community-centered art education business founded and led by certified Michigan art educator Casey Irvine. With over 17 years of experience in K–12 education, special education, and community arts programming, Eye for Creation provides high-quality, inclusive art experiences for learners of all ages.

Eye for Creation is a community-centered art education program founded by certified art educator Casey Irvine, who brings over 16 years of classroom teaching experience into every lesson, workshop, and event. What began as a small passion project has grown into a vibrant creative community serving children, teens, families, adults, and seniors across the Downriver area.

At Eye for Creation, art is more than just a project — it’s a tool for building confidence, encouraging self-expression, and creating meaningful connections. Casey’s background in K–12 art education ensures that every class is thoughtfully designed, age-appropriate, and welcoming to all skill levels. Small class sizes, personalized guidance, and high-quality materials allow each artist to grow at their own pace in a supportive, encouraging environment.

From youth art sessions and teen programs to paint parties, community workshops, and partnerships with local venues and recreation departments, Eye for Creation brings creativity directly to the community. Each season culminates in a joyful Art Show Celebration, where students proudly share their work with family and friends — a moment that reflects the confidence and creativity they’ve built along the way.

Eye for Creation’s mission is simple: to make art accessible, inspiring, and a place where every artist feels seen, supported, and proud to create...
