🎨🧑‍🎨🖼️❤️ About Eye for Creation

Eye for Creation is a community-centered art education program founded by certified art educator Casey Irvine, who brings over 17 years of classroom teaching experience into every lesson, workshop, and event. What began as a small passion project has grown into a vibrant creative community serving children, teens, families, adults, and seniors across the Downriver area.

At Eye for Creation, art is more than just a project — it’s a tool for building confidence, encouraging self-expression, and creating meaningful connections. Casey’s background in K–12 art education ensures that every class is thoughtfully designed, age-appropriate, and welcoming to all skill levels. Small class sizes, personalized guidance, and high-quality materials allow each artist to grow at their own pace in a supportive, encouraging environment.

From youth art sessions and teen programs to paint parties, community workshops, and partnerships with local venues and recreation departments, Eye for Creation brings creativity directly to the community. Each season culminates in a joyful Art Show Celebration, where students proudly share their work with family and friends — a moment that reflects the confidence and creativity they’ve built along the way.

Eye for Creation’s mission is simple: to make art accessible, inspiring, and a place where every artist feels seen, supported, and proud to create.

Meet Casey Irvine, Owner and Lead Educator!

Hi, I’m Casey — a certified K–12 art educator with over 17 years of classroom teaching experience and the founder of Eye for Creation. I created this program to bring high-quality, welcoming art experiences beyond school walls and into the heart of our community.

Art has the power to build confidence, spark joy, and connect people of all ages — and that’s exactly what I aim to do through every class, workshop, and event. My background in education means each experience is thoughtfully designed, age-appropriate, and supportive for beginners and experienced artists alike.

Eye for Creation offers youth art programs, teen sessions, family workshops, community classes, and creative events for adults — including paint parties at local venues, businesses, and private homes. From canvas and wood to tote bags and glassware, I provide all materials, step-by-step instruction, and a fun, encouraging atmosphere where everyone can succeed.

No experience is ever needed — just a willingness to create. Whether you’re joining a class, celebrating a special occasion, or partnering with me to bring art to your space, my goal is always the same: to help you feel proud of what you create and inspired to keep exploring your creativity.

Let’s make something beautiful together.party today!
